Standard Chartered Bank has extended to Duy Tân Plastics Corporation, a leading plastics manufacturer, a credit limit of VNĐ35 billion (US$1.5 million) as working capital to expand the production of plastic bottles it supplies to sanitiser manufacturers.
The green loan, under HSBC’s commitment to provide $100 billion of sustainable finance and investment by 2025, is the first HSBC has provided to a Vietnamese company, the bank said in a statement.
